Recognition of Excellence Through Experience
Our University believes that professional excellence, leadership, cultural engagement, and life experience are powerful forms of learning. Education does not occur only inside classrooms — it is also developed through years of dedication, responsibility, innovation, and community contribution.
Through our APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) and VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) pathways, we recognize and evaluate substantial professional achievements and advanced career engagement.
These programs are designed for individuals who:
- • Have demonstrated at least five years of significant professional experience
- • Hold senior or leadership positions
- • Have developed strong cultural, academic, or professional backgrounds
- • Contribute meaningfully to their industry and community
- • Exhibit high ethical, civil, and professional standards
Recognition of Prior Learning (APEL & VAE)
The APEL and VAE frameworks are based on international principles that acknowledge competencies acquired outside traditional academic settings. These models allow institutions to evaluate professional experience and convert it into academic credit, subject to rigorous assessment.
Our University evaluates prior learning in accordance with recognized international best practices for experiential learning assessment. Each application is reviewed by the University’s Evaluation and Admissions Council to ensure academic integrity, professional credibility, and alignment with international higher education frameworks.
Nature of the APEL-Based Degree
Unlike traditional study programs that require full coursework completion, an APEL-based degree is an acknowledgment of verified professional achievement. Key characteristics include:
- No traditional course attendance required
- No standard course grade listing
- Transcript clearly states validated experiential learning
- Minimum admission age: 20 years
This pathway is designed for distinguished professionals whose expertise already reflects advanced academic-level competence.
Assessment Process
Documentation Required for Evaluation:
- • A detailed and comprehensive CV
- • Supporting documentation (certificates, references, publications)
- • Proof of professional and academic engagement
After evaluation, the University determines validated academic credits. If additional work is required, candidates may submit a 40–70 page dissertation or complete a supervised study program.
Who Should Apply?
The APEL/VAE pathway is ideal for senior executives, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, consultants, and public figures with substantial documented achievements. This pathway is not intended for early-career individuals.
Important Academic Clarification
Recognition of prior experiential learning is subject to institutional evaluation and remains discretionary. Applicants are advised to verify suitability of the qualification for their intended professional or regulatory purposes before enrollment.
